PPDB in Thousand Islands can Be Accessed Online and Offline

New Students Enrollment (PPDB) for elementary, junior high, and senior high schools levels in Thousand Islands is carried out through online and offline systems.

They can also enroll their child by going directly to school

Thousand Islands Education Sub-agency Head, Bambang Purwanto mentioned, online system is applied for all schools, except for Integrated Schools (SD-SMP Satu Atap) which is done by visiting the schools by implementing the health protocols.

According to him, offline PPDB is provided because number of prospective student in Thousand Islands is not as much as in the main island (Jakarta) and due to network constraints

"Parents can enroll via online, but for those who don't understand the process and can't access internet due to network, are allowed to go to school for enrollment by implementing health protocols," he explained, Friday (6/26).

For parents who don't understand about the process, he added, can call PPDB post in each schools via WhatsApp, SMS, or calling directly the officer at schools.

"They can also enroll their child by going directly to school. But they must wear mask, wash their hands often, and maintain the physical distance," he closed.
